STOP PRESS ! 2020 NAWGfest is postponed
After much deliberation, the Committee has decided to postpone our planned 2020 NAWGFest to next year (3rd to 5th September 2021). As mentioned in the June extra newsletter, it’s been a difficult time for us as we plotted the best course of action. Had we cancelled the event we could have been subject to cancellation fees that would have wiped out our reserves. Had we gone ahead, there was a risk of a greatly reduced attendance as members continued (quite understandably) to shield themselves from large gatherings.
However, following negotiations with our conference facilities provider at Yarnfield, we’ve been able to postpone our event to September 2021,
with no financial penalty. This seems the most sensible and prudent way forward for NAWG and its members during these unprecedented times.
