Mere Literary Festival including children's and young people's writing competition.
I'd like to tell you about the Mere Literary Festival Children's and Young People's Writing Competition. The festival runs from 12th to 18th October 2026 and the deadline for entries is September 12th.
We had a great response last year and a high level of entries. Although it is a national competition there is also a special prize category for young writers from Wiltshire, Somerset and Dorset.
