Lynne Hackles
Lynne Hackles is a professional writer. Over sixty employers, from chip shop owners to building society managers, have supplied the grist to her mill.
Lynne's writing has been as varied as her jobs. She has written rude greetings cards and silly advertisements, flirted with journalism and has had several hundred short stories published, here and in Australia. Her first published book, Racing Start, was a novel for young adults. She has also been a ghost writer and has recently completed her first adult novel.
Lynne is also available to run workshops.
Her most recent work, The Handy Little Book for Writers, was published in September 2004 by the National Association of Writers' Groups, of which Lynne is an associate member.
