Nicolette M. Ward started writing again in 2006 after a break of about 15 years. She is primarily a writer of fantasy and horror short stories, both original and fanfiction.

Alison Chisholm teaches poetry writing in adult education and is also a poetry correspondence course tutor. She has written books on the craft of writing poetry, and her work appears in numerous magazines and anthologies plus eight collections. She was BBC North West's poetry consultant for eight years, is a regular contributor to Writing Magazine and Springboard, gives talks and workshops on all aspects of poetry, and adjudicates competitions. Alison has on several occasions been a tutor and judge for the Annual Festival of Writing organised by the National Association of Writers' Groups.
