www.greatnorthernpublishing.co.uk Great Northern Publishing are based in Scarborough. They publish "The Great War" and "Old Yorkshire," magazines whose titles are self-explanatory. Mark Marsay, publisher and author, has also produced "Baptism of Fire" and "Bombardment!" The first book deals with the 5th Green Howards at the Battle of St Julien in April 1915, while the second deals in great depth with the bombardment of Scarborough, Whitby and Hartlepool in December 1914. "Jade," a new magazine of erotica, for which material is being sought, appeared in May 2002. A catalogue of books is available.
