  2. Mysterious Master by Isabella Rose my alter ego was short listed for an award for best published author read at the international festival of romance writers 2012.
Held in Bedford it was a wonderful experience meeting friendly editors -publishers and other authors who all know how much work goes into producing a book. The one thing we all hated as up and coming writers was being told it was a lovely hobby to keep us busy.
I pitched one book to an editor which is now in final edit.
I pitched another to a panel of editors -publishers -and literary agent Kate Nash who is also a writer Kate Allen who as usual organised all the events brilliantly. Feedback was very helpful. And actors in regency costume gave a little vingette ending in a romantic kiss to much applause. It was an interesting informative but fun filled festival and I made many new friends.
I can give you the official link to the photographs if you wish I’m trying to put it onto my page in n.a.w.g but it seems to have disappeared.

  3. Hello Margaret – I beleive that we are friends again now that at least your June LINKs have turned up. I’m sorry for any inconvenience to your group as we do seem to be having problems with some of the NAWG email addresses but you know that you can always get through to me on chairman@nawg.co.uk or by telephone on my home number. We look forward to your continued membership, with best wishes to you and Blyth Writers. Pam.

  4. Dear All at Nawg,
I have tried several times to get in touch with you about Blyth Writers’ missing links. we have not received April’s or June’s. Every email I send is thrown back at me by the Demon Postmaster of the Ether. We, as a group, are now considering giving up on NAWG. Will I be successful this time?

  9. The results are in the April Link, which is being printed as we speak. Life has been very hectic just lately but we are getting there! Your LINK will be with you fairly soon and in it will be the brochure for the Festival of Writing. I hope that you and some of your group will be joining us in Nottingham in September. I’ll put the results and the winning entry on the website as soon as LINK is ‘on the streets’. Pam.

  11. We at Quentin Publications have opportunities for a writer or writers to join us as entrepreneur Joint Venture Partners to market and sell QPL books and be the continuum running the company on the retirement of myself. Interest and experience of book marketing and publicity an advantage

  14. Hello Margaret,
We are going through a very difficult time just now and the December Link has not yet been sent out. You should be getting news of the competitions as soon as is possible after a committee meeting scheduled for 29th January. We were considering calling this missive ‘The Missing Link’, but you seem to have beaten us to it. You may well get the December Link shortly but it does not have details of the competitions in it. Keep looking at the website because as soon as I have the details they will be up there on the NAWG competitions page. So sorry for any inconvenience caused and please bear with us whilst we do our very best for you. Pam Fish.
