‘The Best Ever’, was how the delegates described the 2011 Festival of Writing – this year at Nottingham University. It was seeing all the happy faces that did it for me and the ‘See you next year’, farewells. Here are some of the photographs that were taken at the event.

Hi! I’ve been following your website for a long time now and finally got the bravery to go ahead and give you a shout out from Humble Texas! Just wanted to mention keep up the good job!

As Comp Administrator I have this minute finished the final short list of winners and those who were placed in the 2012 NAWG Competitions. The quality of your entries was just wonderful. Yesterday I was at the jolliest committee meeting I’ve ever attended, and I’ve been to a few. I’d just like to say how pleased I am that NAWG is such an extraordinarily friendly and decent organisation. I am deeply honoured and highly delighted to be a member of your committee. I’d like to thank you all for being so nice and for being such accomplished writers.
