The Petersfield
Writers'
'You can now read your own poetry
in our Poetry Performance Evenings in Petersfield. Every Second
Thursday of Each Month Starting 13th Sept from 7-10pm.. The Write-Angle,
our new 'Open Mic' eves, sponsored by Petersfield Writers Workshop, will
be held upstairs @ The Square Brewery, right on the Market square,
Petersfield, Hants, GU32 . It is a 'perfect' venue - fire place, high
ceilings, light and bright, wood floors, etc, and we have the use of
it - through to March, for evenings of original poetry as well as
evenings 'ad hoc' of short story or play readings.
The Petersfield Writers Workshop,
sponsoring the above, is a group set up for serious writers of
completed, unpublished works or works-in-progress. The Workshops are
held every Tues eve from 7.30-10pm. For further information about either

The
Creative
Writing/Thinking Workshop scheduled
for Thurs eves from 7.30-10pm, the Creative Writing and Thinking
Workshop is described as 'a two and a half hour escape from the
pressures of the outside world into the fantasies of the mind... through
music, conversation and games, in an informal group atmosphere, you will
have the time and space to plug into, and share ideas, fantasies,
feelings and discover your own creativity! Whether you've ever thought
about writing, knitting, painting, baking, building a house, being a
happier employee, housewife/husband/ or just enjoying life
more...whatever... the Creative Writing and Thinking Workshop will help
you put your mind to it'.
As far as the WRITE-ANGLE 'Open Mic'
evenings, they will begin on 13th September, upstairs
at the Square Brewery, Petersfield GU32. I would appreciate if you could
put that in the correct date order as it is the first of, we hope, of
many months to come. Following that, they will be held every Second
Thursday of Each Month )except Nov when it will be the 15th)
