Bridlington Writers' Group
Bridlington Writers' Group sprang from a local authority appointed writing class in 1987. Current membership is around 20, with an average of a dozen meeting at 7.30pm each Tuesday, at the Jamroz Centre, North Street, Bridlington.
Guest speakers are invited about three times a year, while all-day Saturday workshops are held once or twice a year.
At the weekly meetings, members take turns to organise a workshop. The resulting work is read out and discussed after a coffee break.
The group has published short story writers and poets, while some are working on novels.
