Bexhill Writers
Group began in 1979,
and has met monthly ever since then. We agree on a theme for
the month, to be treated as a short story or in verse. At
the meeting one member reads his offering, and the rest, starting
from the member on his left, make their comments. The writer
keeps silent until all have spoken, when he may answer questions
or make comments; then the next member reads, and so on.
Currently we meet on the last Friday of each month, from 1400 to
1600.
We do not hold meetings in AUGUST OR
DECEMBER.
Some of our members have had material published, and broadcast,
and have won prizes in competitions, and we have had at least
four successes in NAWG competitions.
