The
National Association of Writers’ Groups offers:
 |
GROUP OR ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP.
Writers’ Groups can join as Group Members while individuals unable to join
writers’ groups for any reason – geographical isolation or disability for
example – may join as Associate Members. Affiliated groups may select two
members to vote at annual general meetings. Associate membership has no
voting rights but all other benefits. |
 |
FREE COMPETITIONS.
Prestigious annual awards for excellence in creative writing. In the
competitions for 2005, there were categories for short stories, poetry,
novels, non-fiction and drama, as well as a special prize for the best group
anthology. Categories change annually and are published in December. The
closing date for the competitions is usually the end of April of each year.
