NAWG Open Festivals of Writing

There have been several Festivals of Writing organised by the National Association of Writers' Groups. The first was held in the Art Centre, Biddick Lane, Washington, Tyne & Wear, and others thereafter at St Aidan's College, University of Durham, Durham, shown below.

The magnificent setting of St Aidan's College, with its view over the valley to the Cathedral, can be seen in the first photograph. The grounds of the College make for a relaxed atmosphere in which to work and meet friends. Photos by Mike Wilson
