I submitted an entry. When will I know if it was not successful in the short list, so that I can use it for another competition, blog, or anthology?

This the first writing competition I have entered, and I am a little confused about the entry requirement regarding poetry. I will be entering a poem in the Villanelle form. Do I need to state the number of lines as stated in section v of the rules, since this form requires a prescribed number of lines?

Hello, I won the child's poetry category last year. I'm now 17 and wondering if I can enter into the following categories: ten minute play, short story and the open poetry category. If it is possible I would like to enter a piece of writing into each of these categories.
